A bouquet of fresh flowers pleasantly stunned my winter-tuned eyes when I walked into the painting group. What faraway season were they from? I wondered!! While my friends painted beautiful, realistic & patient depictions of the assortment, I responded quickly to flashes of movement & color.
Here, playing at softening colors using mixes of hooker's green, alizaron crimson, ultramarine blue & violet. More experiments to come for me involving the gray, snowy tones of winter which surround me.
really neat. would make a great notecard. :)
