Climbing in knee deep snow to the shore path, I came to frozen miracles...They were not far from the land of the drifts (see yesterday's post), but how different was this world!
People come to this public park to play, but on this day, the snow & ice had their turn.
Bobble-headed folks, dancing...
"Look!" said the ice. "Look how we embrace these gorgeous plants in the middle of winter!"
In another place, visiting snow creatures had been playing ball..."Catch, Mr. Tree!"
And, very near to all that: bare hills, almost desert-like in contrast to the nearby frozen scapes. Boggling...
But even in this unusual world, the ocean waves can not be ignored!
I laughed at the text that accompanied your wonderful photographs. Perfect!!! Alas, down here in the south, these scenes amaze us. Stay warm.

ReplyDeleteStunning photos! Thank you. xx
ReplyDeleteThose ice-covered branches were lucky to survive. I would have imagined them breaking off with the weight. What a great story this would make with the ice personified.
