A visit back home last week. A little vacation.
Spent a lot of the week sketching in my book.
Observational sketches, many rough. Many not to show.
But I love the authentic connection that happens while observing/drawing.
Here, a moment from a day trip to Portsmouth.
that made me GRIN! such a perfect moment you have captured.
ReplyDeleteI would think I should hang it in The Louvre had I done this:)
ReplyDeleteI love the whole feeling..the perspective..you nailed inside outside and you.
Glad you weren't the driver:)
Then I would really be shocked!
You are a lovely passenger..:)
DeleteOh yes, I know this scene. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteYou have such imagination for choosing the subject to sketch. I can never think of what to sketch. This one tops them all.
ReplyDeleteSuch a moment - fleeting, yet common - love how you use so many subtle shades of gray and blue. Welcome back! xx
ReplyDeleteThis is great! We've missed you missy.
ReplyDeleteOooo I love it!! Your sketches are so full of life and movement. I'm SUCH a fan!!! xoxo Silke
