A Still Life with Robert

My childhood art teacher presented us
with still lifes.
Many, many still lifes.
Above: I quickly arranged some things that were
already on my table.
The caption,
"Every picture tells a story" showed up
as a complete serendipity.

In August I'll have my 2nd show at my library.
Theme: sketching locally.
This still life is very, very local.
My table.
A friend who is visiting France writes that
she has found paradise on earth.
Reading & looking up French vocabulary at my table,
this is for me a local paradise on earth.

  1. Rita it is wonderful sketch of what is on your desk...can I pull up my chair and join you? :)!!

  2. Witam Rita. Przypadki czasami są zaskakujące, ale i miłe. Uwielbiam Twoje szkice. Pozdrawiam i ślę buziaki.

  3. Wish I could visit your library show . . . sketching locally!

  4. One of the truest francophiles in the world:)
Bonne journée en ce 4 juillet..

  5. Charming as always--love the serendipity, also!

  6. I was taken by this sketch which I saw on your table today. In real life it was even more captivating!!!!

  7. I love it and I love the serendipity. Congratulations on your show -- I know it will be so very popular!

  8. I'm so glad to hear you are having a show! Your sketches are so cheery and fun to look at with so many details. I can imagine they would make a great show!
