Good Bye to Autumn Colors

This little sketch isn't really about today.
Pumpkins are now covered in snow,
& green appears on evergreen trees
rather than in downtown window displays.
But it's one I reworked recently.

The oranges, warm browns & golds that you see on
all those Thanksgiving cards have been replaced
by blues, grays, cool browns: & lots of white!

  1. Love the color and the sketch . . .
Now we are ready for winterscapes . . .
    Stay warm!
    Happy Thanksgiving

  2. Tis the season!! Happy Thanksgiving

  3. I love to the max your wonderful art and this is perfect, even if it isn't officially about the day!

Thanks for all your visits to Marmelade Gypsy. I love your comments. And I'm so grateful for them and for the inspiration I get here. You asked about the show at the Atelier. Yes, it goes till January 6. Then something else digital but I haven't found an announcement yet. It was the most amazing art experience I've ever had!

  4. Lovely farewell to the colors of Fall...But I know YOU will somehow find beauty in the drab colors of Winter and amaze us with your whimsical sketches....Thanks for sharing....

  5. Dear Rita this is really lovely. Like you I am seeing gray and white. Brr! Thanks for sharing these more lovely colors to brighten up my day. Hugs!

  6. Very pretty sketch--I do love those autumn colors. Hope you aren't freezing to death up there!

Thank you for your comments! They mean a lot to me!
